brass ring found in the southeastern bulwark of James Fort and bears the crest of the Strachey family. 
William Stachey was secretary of the colony in 1610-11 after being shipwrecked in Bermuda. I found this information doing a Google search on the Jamestown Rediscovery website. 
Good vintage condition. Patina. Has a tag on it with size.
